What is SwagBucks?
Basically it’s an online search engine that rewards you with points for using their search engine. There are sometimes a few ads to weed through at the top and bottom of the results page but I find it to not be a bother for the rewards I earn.
Swag Bucks has been a great thing for me and it’s absolutely free for you to join! With the points you earn you can redeem gift cards or other prizes of your choice. Downloading and using the swag bucks tool bar makes it easy to search the Internet. And there’s no spy-ware.
How do you get started?

- Use the SwagBucks search box to navigate everywhere online.
I use the search tab for anywhere I need to get to online. I even do it to get to facebook, hotmail etc. These searches are often awarded with 7-12 points and I usually get points within my first few searches of the day - Check in to the Swag Bucks site daily (not required) .If you check into these places on the SwagBucks site each day you will get 1-2 points each time.
The daily poll, NOSO offers (click skip on all if you are not interested, after 4-5 you will be awarded a SwagBuck or 2) - Redeem your bucks!
Over the course of 2 years I have earned 15,300 points which I have redeemed for $170 in Amazon Gift cards. It may not seem like a lot but I think it’s pretty cool to get $ just for typing my internet searches into a different box…
What have I actually purchased with these gift cards?
I will tell you I was VERY skeptical when I first signed up. I worried about spam and viruses. I have not had any problems and am so glad I did!

ReplyDeleteAwesome, Thanks! Yes I will get some matching bucks (up to 1000) when you search. It takes a bit of persistence but once you get used to it you will earn 15-20 points a day easy.
